It’s National Novel writing month,13 days in and I am telling you all…
Hi everyone………….
How are you all?

it has been long
and i have been creating after #themindfulbreak
now i jumped on to the #nanowrimo community of writing
the national novel writing month of November
I was invited to join #nanowrimo before in 2018
yet, I only took up the offer to participate this year.

and with writing comes reading the free books that come along with joining #nanowrimo challenge.
since i work on weekdays
I write 800 words daily,
and try for 1600 words on the weekend.

unfortunately I fall short of writing so much.
just show up to writing everyday.
What has really helped is,
writesprints held by #nanowrimo coaches
and write-ins held on you tube.
i never knew the writing community is as warm and welcoming as the artist community.
Doing this with a large group, there is such a good upbeat energy.
Sadly because of the current pandemic and social distancing physically we will not be having in person gatherings.
As an extrovert I feel some part of me would like that.
Yet because of the pandemic(thanks to the pandemic)
I am actually taking a leap out of my comfort zone and trying this out.

Happiest of Diwali-festival of lights to all my south asian readers and friends.
though 2020 was dark and mysterious…
let us carry the light of hope as we close 2020 and open up 2021
wishing you all a prosperous new lunar cycle

one of my creative friends @moderngypsy.in answered my question recently on her podcast,
Do check out her blog posts:

first part

you can read her blog
or listen to the audio podcast
she lines up a bunch of resources
I recommend this to all who are trying new things during this uncertain time and creating( art, content, writing,a new business, etc)
the visibility block comes up just as we share our self expression
our inner critic pops up and emerges with a list of excuses and should s
the truth is your creative expression is a spark from the divine
and that spark is for you to express
creative expression can be anything
from creating a home cooked meal
to organizing a balance sheet of finances
to setting up a great day

I wonder
since you all are great writers
are any of you doing #nanowrimo?
I have been thinking of all of you,
yet i popped in here to blog quite late after completing #themindfulbreak.
i am writing three projects for #nanowrimo
I got bored with writing one piece
maybe this will be a trilogy series.
For now,
-daily pause insights from #themindfulbreak challenge
-South asian creative heroine journey
and a Nature oracle meditation guidebook
13 days in to #nanowrimo
I am not at the halfway mark on my word count
only one project is done and i am going back to plot after writing without a plan.
wishing all of you well!
